Fresh from recording his own huge Friday night entertainment show with Big Narstie for Channel 4 and racking up over 11 million hits to date of his set on The Russell Howard Hour for Sky One, comedy’s brightest new star, Mo Gilligan, steps out this month to continue on his own 42 date UK tour, including an astonishing 22 sold out dates at London’s Leicester Square Theatre. Tipped by Drake, Stormzy and Anthony Joshua amongst many others, Mo Gilligan is one of UK’s fastest rising stand up stars with an online reach running into the multiple millions. With his high-energy style and stunning physicality, Mo achieved phenomenal success in 2017 creating his own short form comedy content across a range of platforms, with huge viewer engagement. His sketches regularly go viral, trend and are endorsed by some of the most famous names in international music. Without doubt, Mo Gilligan is very much comedy’s next big thing. Mo first made his name as a stand up on the black comedy circuit, regularly playing iconic venues such as The Hackney Empire, O2 & Bloomsbury Theatre. Last year he went on to win Best Comedian award at the Black British Entertainment Awards after totally selling out his 2017 run of the ‘Coupla Cans’ run. Smashing all records for a debut stand up tour, Mo now embarks on another massive leg of unmissable UK dates, many of which sold out within minutes of being released. The show combines Mo’s trademark everyman style, with high-energy routines and astute comedic observations. He’s already collaborated with the likes of The BET Awards in Los Angeles, appeared as a brand ambassador for Adidas alongside Stormzy, sent Instagram into a meltdown when international superstar Drake quoted one of his catchphrases, hosted Tinie Tempah’s Ibiza closing party performing to over 10,000 people and has consistently hit well over a million views for every new sketch offering he has released via social media. Current TV projects include multiple shows for UK TV including Channel 4, BBC, ITV 2 and Sky One. ‘Coupla Cans’ full 2018 tour dates: March Thurs 22nd Plymouth, Barbican Theatre SOLD OUT Fri 23rd London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 24th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Thurs 29th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Fri 30th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 31st London, Leicester Square Theatre (Mat) SOLD OUT Sat 31st London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT April Thurs 5th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Fri 6th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 7th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Thurs 12th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Fri 13th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 14th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sun 15th Bristol, Old Vic Thurs 19th Sheffield, Memorial Hall Fri 20th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 21st London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sun 22nd Bristol, Old Vic Weds 25th Leicester, Curve Theatre Thurs 26th Cardiff, Glee Club SOLD OUT Fri 27th Manchester, Dancehouse SOLD OUT Sat 28th Birmingham, O2 Academy SOLD OUT Sun 29th Nottingham, Glee Club SOLD OUT May Thurs 10th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Fri 11th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 12th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Thurs 17th Glasgow, Oran Mor Sat 19th Newcastle, O2 Academy Sun 20th Leeds, O2 Academy Weds 23rd Bournemouth, O2 Academy Thurs 24th Brighton, Komedia SOLD OUT Fri 25th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 26th London, Leicester Square Theatre (Mat) SOLD OUT Sat 26th London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Tues 29th Norwich, Playhouse Wed 30th Dublin, Laughter Lounge Thurs 31st Norwich, Playhouse June Fri 1st London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Sat 2nd London, Leicester Square Theatre SOLD OUT Fri 8th Birmingham, O2 Academy Sat 9th Manchester, Academy Wed 13th Cambridge, Junction
