Campbell Addy, British-Ghanian photographer & filmmaker, launched his debut book Feeling Seen in East London at Protein Galleries to an acme gathering of photography enthusiasts and supporters. The launch featured a live performance from rising star UK singer-songwriter Cosima whose dulcet tones left guests emotional. This soiree opened a 3-day exhibition which runs from April 15-18th. Campbell’s work will be displayed to the public at Protein Galleries and showcases a curated selection of Addy’s striking photographs, ranging from prominent fashion and magazine commissions to candid portraitures. From major portraits of the likes of Kendall Jenner, FKA Twigs, and Tyler, the Creator, to cover shoots for leading magazines such as Time, Rolling Stone, and Garage, Campbell Addy has quickly become one of the most in-demand photographers of his generation. Foreword by Edward Enninful, Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, ‘Feeling Seen’ is the first and only monograph of a rising star of the global photography scene. In attendance was Bianca Saunders (British designer), Kenya Hunt (Editor-in-Chief of Elle UK), CKTRL (Instrumentalist/Musician), Imran Ahmed (Editor-in-Chief of BOF), Olivia Singer (Global Editorial Director of I-D), Declan Chan (Stylist), Nadine Ijewere (British Fashion Photographer), Nabil Aliffi (Soho House’s Chief Creative Officer), Matthew Josephs (stylist), Geoff K.
