Season of Mist are proud to announce the signing of Stoned Jesus, a psychedelic rock band forged in Kyiv in 2009. This Ukrainian trio consists of Igor, Sergii and Dmytro and together they already have a few albums under their belts. Musically, Stoned Jesus submerge themselves in the world of doom, grunge and prog, while maintaining their own recognizable way. Their upcoming album will be the fifth in line and the first to be released through Season Of Mist. Lead vocalist and guitarist Igor comments: "I've always been a huge fan of progressive music - progressive not in the number of notes played per second, but progressive in terms of song writing, concept and attitude. And I rarely saw rock and metal labels encouraging this deeper approach, until I discovered Season Of Mist. This is the label that I can describe with one word: 'eclectic'. And this is the label that not only approves the idea of artistic freedom but openly indulges in it! So we're extremely happy that these exact people are going to help us share our creative vision with the whole world from now on". After releasing "Mild Safari", their debut single, Jaguero, the "supergroup" (consisting of members of Slander, Regarde, La Fortuna) release "Negative, Awesome!". The punk rock band from Vicenza (Italy) unveil another piece of the first EP, produced by Maurizio Baggio at La Distilleria in Bassano del Grappa, out in April on all digital platforms via Epidemic Records. The band says:- "“Negative, Awesome!” deals with the concept of balance: every day, we all face our commitments, our hobbies, our jobs, pretending that everything is ok and that this routine is fine for us. In reality, this is consuming us slowly, and we are so absorbed by this process that we are not able to wake up and realize it. It's okay to accept also the negative parts of ourselves, because they perfectly co-exists with the positive ones. This is just who we are: a complex spectrum that goes from a bright side to a darker one." Negative, Awesome! is out digitally, you can find it here: www.smarturl.com/JagueroNA You can follow Jaguero on social media to stay up to date on the band's activities and the EP release. Blossoms have revealed their brand-new single The Sulking Poet and its accompanying video, directed by Edwin Burdis, Arctic Monkeys’ Creative Director, who worked on the band’s Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino and AM albums. The Sulking Poet is the fourth song to be released from the band’s upcoming new album Ribbon Around The Bomb, following Care For, Ode To NYC and the album’s title track. Speaking about The Sulking Poet, Blossoms’ Tom Ogden says: ‘I once saw a Blossoms fan page describe me as ‘The Sulking Poet’ and I thought that was a great name for a song. I have been told that I need to smile more from time to time. This song touches on the imposter syndrome I’ve sometimes felt in the past. How did I get here? Do I deserve it? Should I be enjoying myself more?’ Blossoms’ new album is produced by their consistent and renowned collaborators James Skelly and Rich Turvey and revolves around a central character ‘The Writer’. Standout tracks on the record include Ode To NYC, described by Tom as ‘a love letter to my favourite city, as well as my wife’, The Writer which deals with the fear of and frustration associated with writers block and Everything About You, one of the album’s only love songs, which Tom says is ‘as honest as they come’. Visions meanwhile contains one of the album’s key lyrics ‘Was I complete at 23’, as Tom explains. ’At 23 I had just had a number 1 album and begun my relationship with my now wife Katie. Reflecting on what I’d achieved at such a young age left me wondering, what now?’ Blossoms are playing a series of live shows in the UK this summer, including an appearance at Glastonbury, as well as headline slots at Y Not? and Truck Festival and a run of support dates with The Killers. Full details on Blossoms live dates in 2022 are here. Blossoms brand-new single The Sulking Poet is out now and the band’s new album Ribbon Around The Bomb is released on 29th April. British rock icons Skunk Anansie have released the brand new video for their single ‘Can’t Take You Anywhere’. Filmed in the past week on tour in Spain and Portugal it gives fans a thrilling taste of the spectacular live show that Skunk Anansie are taking on the road. It also sees drummer Mark Richardson bring the Piggy character of their last single to life, in a humorously disturbing way. ‘Can’t Take You Anywhere’ is a deliciously sinister slice of tense drama, powered along by a roaring chorus. Channelling the same dark power as Depeche Mode and Placebo, with pummelling rhythms, twisted electronics and crystalline guitars, Skin tells the tale of a friend or lover causing chaos wherever they go. Skunk Anansie are currently on a massive European tour, featuring rescheduled dates from their hugely acclaimed 25th Anniversary tour, with new shows also added due to phenomenal demand. The band will also be appearing as part of the 2022 Meltdown Festival in June, which this year is curated by Grace Jones, along with a long-awaited return to Glastonbury Festival, where they famously headlined the Pyramid Stage in 1999. "Waiting" is the story of a young man lost on one side of an impenetrable window desperate for both the beauty and surreal farce of connection. "Waiting" was born in the heavy lidded dream world of so many nights, coalescing like a scum above a Lazarus pit of sugary neon. Reflective but warped, it can be the gaudiest parts of loneliness, the most narcissistic but also the most vulnerable and honest. Sean Fortier explains what inspired The Natural Supernatural to write "Waiting":- "It began as a whim, I wanted to write a funky bassline on a tuned down guitar.. But very quickly the echoes of my lost nights began to reach out, in, and take control. The song itself became an avatar, and when the guitar comes in heavy, Waiting manifests itself as its true purpose.. As a totem forcing acknowledgement from the other side of the window. Simple but enduring." "Waiting" is out now and can be heard HERE https://thenaturalsupernatural... Los Angeles based psych rock band, The Natural Supernatural, formed in 2019 after years of percolation. Combining decades of dedication with an eclectic music taste, the band tries to combine their unique parts to create a consistent, yet ever-evolving sound. What they have come up with represents the best of their abilities: a tight and explosive rhythm section, a myriad of auxiliary sound, relentless solos, and lyrics and vocals that speak to the listener. Lucid Kidd may be, well, just a kid. But he is undoubtedly wise beyond his years. Not to mention that he comes from a part of the world that isn’t exactly a hotbed for young artists creating “edgy, melodic, urban pop.” That’s exactly what Lucid Kidd is doing, though. Born the day after Christmas in Vilnius, Lithuania, the multi-talented artist is ready to conquer America with his unique – and highly enjoyable – brand of music. Lucid Kidd has just released “G n T,” the first single from his forthcoming project. “G n T” and its accompanying video is out everywhere now. “I’m very proud of this song,” shares Lucid Kidd. “Essentially, it’s based on the idea of being at a party or a show or somewhere you should be communicating and having fun, but your emotions take over and make you feel unwanted. This song is very personal to me.” Lucid Kidd discovered a passion for music at 10, when he started taking guitar lessons and tinkering around on his grandmother’s grand piano. Then, his sister introduced him to the XXXTENTACION song “Look at Me,” and the rest is history. By the age of 13, Lucid Kidd was making his own music. Trying his hand to no avail at producing, replicating simple beats, and rapping over his own beats, he eventually pulled out beats from YouTube and started creating songs. It wasn’t long before he was creating three songs every day – recording, mixing, and experimenting all on his own. TRACK + OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW As Lucid Kidd continued to hone his sound, the young artist slowly gained attention, and began collaborating with his friend Lil Skar. The two crafted an entire catalogue of music and were soon called on to perform at local bars. Creating buzz in the local music scene, they eventually gained support from the most popular rap group in Lithuania, Flying Saucer Gang. “The culture is very different in Eastern Europe,” he shares. “Growing up there allowed me to see the real world and how harsh life can actually be. Especially in winter, Eastern Europe is a very cold, dark and depressing region which probably fuelled my creativity.” Now, Lucid Kidd is primed to introduce his music to America and beyond. His soon-to-be-released project boasts titles produced by Fast Life Beats (LouGotCash, Coi Leray, Perri Jones, Young Paris) and IKENNA FuNkEn (Kevin Gates), and collaborations with Corey Chorus (Rihanna, Keke Palmer, Estelle). With any luck, we’ll soon get to see Lucid Kidd perform live, which he has big plans for. “I can visualize a set up with a DJ, Keyboard player, programmer, guitarist, visuals and projection to accompany the set alongside a light show,” proclaims Lucid Kidd. “I want it to be a full experience.” In the meantime, his new project, which is set for release this summer, includes “G n T,” as well as the songs “Nothing Back,” “Today n Tomorrow,” “Smooth Sailing,” and a few others.
