Multi-platinum British breakthrough singer-songwriter Nathan Evans shares the official video for latest single, “Told You So” via Polydor; the same single that Zoe Ball, OJ Borg and Sara Cox on BBC Radio 2 have championed since its inception. The official video opens with Nathan standing on the side of the road in Glen Coe hitch-hiking across various idyllic locations across Scotland in a bid to get home. Nathan eventually reaches his home town of Airdrie, assembling a cast of his genuine family and friends to whom he performs an intimate gig. The new video marks Evans’ arrival: a transition from TikTok to international pop-stardom and is available to watch [HERE]. To celebrate the release of the video, Nathan says: “Thank you, guys, so much on all the support so far with Told You So It has been so overwhelming but also absolutely amazing. Some of the locations in the new music video are beautiful. We spent nearly a full day down by Loch Lomond and a place called Arrochar, and the footage just looks amazing. Loch Lomond is always beautiful. We also went back to my roots and spent a good day filming in Airdrie to get a good sense of home in there too, it looks outstanding. I cannot wait for you all to see the new video! Personally, I love it and hope you all love it just as much as I do!” The release of his new video for the single that went onto chart in the Top 10 of the Music Moves Europe Talent charts follows the global success of “Wellerman”, the biggest selling domestic single of 2021 in the UK so far and first Scottish artist to have a debut #1 since 2007. Leading a new cultural movement of sea shanties, Nathan went onto to score a #1 in 10 countries including the UK while clocking up well over a staggering half a billion streams, quickly becoming the biggest global hit from a British artist in 2021. It caught the attention of Brian May and Andrew Lloyd Webber with appearances around the globe on the likes of Good Morning America, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, The BRITs and The Kelly Clarkson Show. In high demand, Nathan is set to play his first festival appearance on the main stage in front of 60,000 people at TRNSMT in Glasgow on 11 September where he will be in good company alongside NME Award winner Liam Gallagher and fellow Scots Primal Scream. Pre Covid he was performing to 60 people! He will later embark on a U.K. and Ireland wide tour which kicks off on 1 December in Dublin with dates scheduled throughout the U.K. including Manchester, London, and his home city of Glasgow with 13 dates also across Europe into 2022. Tickets are on sale now at https://www.livenation.co.uk/. See below for Nathan Evans’ full live schedule. On his upcoming lives shows, Nathan says: “Can’t believe I can actually say that I’m going on tour! Not just a UK tour but also a European tour, that’s mind blowing to me, still can’t believe it! Can’t wait to eventually meet everyone who has supported me on this amazing journey and put some faces to names, it’s going to be amazing!” 2021 UK & IRELAND TOUR DATES
As breakout’s go, Nathan Evans’ is remarkable. Just six months ago, the 26-year-old was a Glasgow postman. Today, he’s a certified multi-platinum recording artist; the breakthrough British act behind the UK’s biggest selling domestic single of the year. Now signed to Polydor / Interscope, his second single released 25 June - “Told You So” – a sure fire soundtrack to the summer, set to become his next unstoppable anthem as lockdown lifts. Evans single-handedly captured the world’s attention with his masterful harmonies when he uploaded a traditional sea shanty to TikTok. Remixed by 220 KID & Billen Ted, it quickly became his debut single, Wellerman, which turned into an instant international sensation: topping the charts in ten countries while clocking up well over a staggering half a billion streams. “It’s like I’ve been standing in the middle of a tornado,” says Evans, “watching everything around me be thrown around. The last few months have been a dream, hearing my voice all over the globe. It’s been fun to ride the sea shanty wave, but I’ve spent years learning my craft as a musician. Now it’s time to share my own sound.” Now Evans is in the studio, working on his debut album, and this summer he’ll play a series of festivals before embarking on a 21-date European tour.

Her upcoming second EP ‘Into The Blue Hour’ tracks her move from London to a tightly knit creative community in the seaside town of Margate. After trading the intrusive city skylines for an endless horizon by the sea, Mackey’s forthcoming music has a new sense of space, depth and introspection. The EP’s lead single ‘Distance (Blank)’ is available to buy and stream on all platforms. LISTEN here The founding member of Welsh shoegaze outfit Deaf Club, Mackey spent time immersed in East London’s creative ecosystem before moving south of the river. Since the group disbanded, Mackey became enamoured with London’s pirate radio networks and began making electronic music with an experimental focus, releasing her debut ‘Measures’ EP as Art School Girlfriend in late 2017. Now expanding on those electronic blueprints, the ‘Into The Blue Hour’ EP sees Mackey further develop her production tool kit and mastery of negative space. The beat-driven lead single ‘Distance (Blank)’ explores Mackey’s fatigue with crowded city living, feelings of claustrophobia and the desire to be out in a wide open space. The single is soon to be paired with visuals directed by Tom Dream. Art School Girlfriend embarks on her first full UK tour in October, beginning with a performance at London’s St Pancras Old Church on the 5th. Full details follow. The entrancing tune comes courtesy of the band's impending new full-length, Evaporate, set for release on April. 27th. "Dust And Bone" ratchets up the tension with dark, ominous drones paired with shards of discordant melodies and Heaton's quietly unsettling vocals, rising to a jarring, impassioned climax that reflects the track's themes of inner turmoil. Immerse yourself in "Dust And Bone" at THIS LOCATION where you can also sample the record's title track, "Bruise Pusher," and "Soveraine." Midas Fall's Evaporate will be released worldwide by Monotreme Records on April 27th on CD and digital formats, as well as a limited pressing of 500 LPs on 180-gram vinyl (200 black and 300 clear blue/black). For pre-orders, visit THIS LOCATION. Produced and recorded by Heaton in Argyll, Scotland, Evaporate shimmers with a dark, gothic grace, delicate and brutal in equal measure. From the desperate, savage cacophony of "Bruise Pusher" to the elegant ascension of "Sword To Shield," the record conjures stunning soundscapes at every turn. Combining elements of electronica, post-rock, and alternative with progressive and gothic undertones, Midas Fall has over the course of their existence carved a distinctive and captivating sound, creating taut, shimmering soundscapes led by the hauntingly melancholic vocals of Elizabeth Heaton - a sound described as, "powerful yet fragile, devastatingly beautiful and beautifully devastating" (The Founder Magazine). http://www.midasfall.com http://www.facebook.com/midasfall http://twitter.com/midasfall http://monotremerecords.limitedrun.com http://www.facebook.com/MonotremeRecords Jay-Z and Beyoncé are joining forces for the newly announced OTR II stadium tour. Escape The Fate have revealed the brand new track ‘Broken Heart’, which is available for fans to download as an instant grat when pre-ordering the new album I Am Human, out February 16th via Better Noise Records. This is the fourth track showcased from the album following the melodic, angst-driven anthem ‘Do You Love Me’, the title-track ‘I Am Human’ and the dark party-centric lead single ‘Empire’. ‘Broken Heart’ comes before their return to the UK at the end of next week, where they begin a run of headline shows in support of the album release. They will play shows in Manchester, Bristol, London, Nottingham and Glasgow with support from New Jersey post-hardcore band Palisades, before heading across the US with Eleven Seven label-mates Papa Roach and Nothing More. Throughout their career Escape The Fate have delivered a sound that is sonically diverse, piecing together metalcore, pop hooks and synth-infused ballads injected with 80’s sleaze, but with their sixth instalment, I Am Human, Escape the Fate are at their most raw, real, and relatable yet. It has been produced by GRAMMY Award-nominated super producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Adam Lambert), and sees an evolution of Escape The Fate’s sound that brings the band back to the excitement of their roots.
