Mallory Knox have released their first single as a four-piece, following the news that vocalist Mikey Chapman had departed the band last week. ‘Black Holes’ sees bassist Sam Douglas step up to vocal duties. He says in relation to ‘Black Holes’: “I think it shows a completely different side to my voice. In taking on lead vocals, that was something I wanted to be able to show from the get go. It's a song we've played at rehearsal for a while and we're all really excited about integrating it into the set.
Continuing to speak on the lyrics, Douglas says “It's all too easy in this day and age to post every single thought we have online, and at times too much can be said. Everybody seems to be so quick to have an opinion on something, which they often know nothing about, and I struggle to defend how much negativity is spouted online. We really wanted to make sure that emotion was captured in the recording and our producer Adrian Bushby really brought out the bare bones of the song in the best way. It’s a conscious effort to go back to basics. We really want the listener to be able to hear every part being played and I feel we've achieved that.”
‘Black Holes’ received its first airplay on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 Show last night and Mallory Knox are all set to take their revamped line-up on the road for a clutch of headline dates in April, as well as festival appearances at Selby Pop Punk Pile-Up and Camden Rocks.

After months of anticipation, platinum-certified and critically-acclaimed Atlanta rapper and singer YFN Lucci announces March 9, 2018 as the release date of his anxiously awaited full-length debut, Ray Ray From Summer Hill [Think It’s A Game Records/Warner Bros. Records]. The announcement includes a reveal of Ray Ray From Summer Hill’s striking cover art, featuring YFN Lucci.
YFN Lucci introduced the forthcoming record with the red-hot single “Boss Life” [feat. Offset]. Earlier this month, Lucci brought the house down at the BET Social Awards with a high-energy and hard-hitting performance of the song. Online, it’s quickly nearing the 5-million mark on Spotify and 4 million views on YouTube. Additionally, the album boasts the brand new banger “Street Kings” [feat. Meek Mill].
However, these two anthems offer just a glimpse of what to expect from his very first offering.
It’s time to meet Ray Ray From Summer Hill.
February has been a banner month for YFN Lucci. He celebrated his 27th birthday by throwing an Instagram-worthy circus-themed “Trap Du Soleil” party, which TMZ called, “circus meets hood.” He also dropped the new Freda’s Son EP fueled by the standout posse cut “Propane” [feat. YFN Trae Pound & YFN Kay].
Celebrating the release of the album, YFN Lucci heads down to SXSW to perform at the Pandora showcase on March 14. If you’re in Austin, don’t miss it.
Singing and rapping with the same fiery force, YFN Lucci represents the next evolution of the Atlanta sound. Inking a deal with Think It’s A Game Records in 2014, he quietly developed into one of his city’s most powerful voices. Following the success of Wish Me Well, he unleashed Wish Me Well 2 in 2016. It yielded the platinum-certified smash “Key to the Streets” [feat. Migos & Trouble], which amassed over 43.2 million Spotify streams, turned up a high-profile remix with Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Quavo, and landed on XXL’s “50 Best Hip-Hop Songs of 2016” and Vibe’s “The 60 Best songs of 2016” list. Forbes proclaimed YFN Lucci among “5 Breakout Hip-Hop Artists to Watch This Summer” and Billboard dubbed him one of the “Top 10 Hip-Hop & R&B Artists to Watch in 2017”—he’s lived up to those claims with his EP Long Live Nut, and now Ray Ray From Summer Hill, (Think It’s A Game Records/Warner Bros. Records).
Alpha Omega Management is extremely glad to announce the signing of the Croatia's alternative rock metallers Nord!
Nord - formed in October 2013 - is hailing from Rijeka, Croatia. The meaning of the name reflects the idea of being lost in the sonic wilderness, but also their hopeful and positive attitude towards music and life. The band's sound is a blend of dark textural ambience, massive guitar riffs and emotional lyrics with a very personal feeling. Nord's debut album, "Play Restart" (released April 21, 2017 via Geenger Records), is all about finding a clean, new start in life. Nord is for the fans of Faith No More, Soundgarden, Helmet, Tool, Depeche Mode, Massive Attack, Deftones etc.
Comments the band on signing:
"We were all very excited about 2018 in general since we planned a lot of great things to come for our band - recording of our second album, many shows ahead all around Europe and making some new songs for 3rd album already.. But we didn't expect that things will get even better. The second day of 2018 started with (almost accidentally) getting in touch with Alex from Alpha Omega, and after a couple of great talks and after discussing all possibilities with band members we decided that this collaboration would be a great thing and a step forward for Nord! So far this decision has already proven to be a good one since we just got booked for a great tour in March (more information will be revealed very soon), and that is just the start we're sure. We are very positive about the Alpha Omega crew and hopefully we'll achieve some great things together and of course have much fun in the process. World, Alpha Omega is bringing us to YOU so get ready to rock out with NORD!! ?? ??"
Alpha Omega Management adds:
"We are very happy to welcome Nord to our family! These guys have the right attitude and desire to work hard to achieve their goals and conquer new territories! Soon we will announce their headliner tour, so check out this band and stay tuned, you will not regret it!"

Diamante reveals Thelma & Louise-inspired video for 'Had Enough' which can be viewed below:-
Made in support of the #MeToo movement with an all female team, it pays tribute to the classic female friendship road trip film
"I think especially in today’s social climate, it’s both important and powerful to be able to tell the world ‘I’ve had enough, I’m pissed off, and it’s time for change." - Diamante
'Had Enough' follows Diamante’s 'Coming In Hot' official video which has now been streamed more than 1 million times
“Diamante has been making a big noise. With a series of feisty, well-received singles...the anthemic 'Had Enough' [is] a perfectly timed cover of a song originally released by English alt-rockers Lower Than Atlantis in 2016. - Team Rock (She Rocks Campaign, 2018)
As her sultry and show-stopping video for 'Coming In Hot' crosses 1 Million YouTube streams, 21-year-old Diamante shows she’s more than meets the eye in the brand new video for her female empowerment video anthem 'Had Enough'.
Shot on location in Palm Springs CA, Diamante enlisted an all-female team to create the ultimate gal-pal road trip video, which pays homage to the classic pissed-off-chick-flick Thelma and Louise. Taking the desert by storm alongside actress Mackenna Johnson, the video features a behind-the scenes cast including Director/Producer Sofia Lane, production crew Rose Lu and Alyssa Mordal, and camera work by Tania Espinosa Cueva. Each woman is up-and-coming in her respective field.
“It’s critical to see more women at the top of fields traditionally dominated by men,” explains Diamante on her decision to hire women for this shoot. “But in order to do that, we need to give women a chance to get their foot in the door. It was very important to me to create opportunities for other women in the making of this video”
Originally recorded by Lower Than Atlantis, Diamante decided to put her stamp on the song because the strong lyrical content struck a chord. “Something about its unapologetic honesty really captivated me. I think that level of honesty and bluntness of being able to tell the world: 'Hey! I'm pissed off!' is very powerful and something that music has been craving, especially in today's climate”
'Had Enough' is the fourth track released from her forthcoming debut record due out later this year on Better Noise Records, following 'Haunted', 'Sleepwalking' and the breakout track 'Coming In Hot'. Produced by Howard Benson [Chris Cornell, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance, Halestorm], the upcoming collection brings to light a signature sound the artist has been developing meticulously since age 13. With her edgy style, sultry vocals, pop sensibility, and unabashed swagger, the Mexican-Italian-American solo artist draws from myriad influences and calls to mind legends from a spectrum of rock icons including Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Debbie Harry, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, and Bowie.

London based singer/songwriter Alex Hepburn has released her stunning new single ‘I Believe’. The song, which showcases Alex’s smooth, soul-drenched vocals, also features a sample from Aretha Franklin’s ‘People Get Ready’. The song was written by Alex and Chris Ballard (Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis) and is produced by Craigie Dodds and Pete Boxta. The duo have previously written and produced for Gorrilaz, Amy Winehouse, James Arthur, A$AP Rocky, Machine Gun Kelly and more.
‘I Believe’ is Alex’s first full release in the UK, however she is no stranger to success internationally having already achieved a Platinum album in France, and Gold in Switzerland with her debut record ‘Together Alone’.
Alex says: “I put my heart and my soul into making my music as authentic and as true to me as possible. Unfortunately, I’ve lived through a lot of shit. I have a lot of baggage, but you have to find the positive in the situation you are in. My record and my words are always from the heart and I’m very, very proud of this record.”
This raw emotion and soul is evident in ‘I Believe’, which Alex says is intended to be a feminist anthem. Taking influence from a number of strong women in music, including Etta James, Adele and Mary J Blige, it seemed fitting to honour Aretha Franklin by using her sample for backing vocals; “Aretha is one of the most beautiful and strong female inspirations. I feel so blessed to have her vocal running through my track”.
Alex made her start, like many rising artists, online - where she amassed 500,000 plays for her early uploads. Despite these huge numbers Alex wasn’t sure if a career in music was for her. “I didn’t know I wanted to be a singer. It’s a big dream. I worked loads of shitty jobs; I was a receptionist and a maid, but my boyfriend kept saying ‘you’ve got 500,000 plays online, you should try and do something with this!” She was then offered £250 to play a gig in Paris, which she quickly accepted, and consequently wowed her audience, with Warner offering her a deal four days later.
Soon after she was touring with the likes of Lianne La Havas, Alex Clare and Bruno Mars, Alex then went on to headline her own tour across Europe, discovering she had die-hard fans across the continent: “It was insane. It was like Eminem in The Real Slim Shady video – the first 2 rows had the same haircut as me!” But Alex wants to spread her success further with ‘I Believe’ and her upcoming second album, taking her soul-tinged pop across the globe.
‘I Believe’ is out now via Warner Music, with her debut album due to be released later this year.
