American rapper Denzel Curry shares new single 'The Game' with video, out now on Loma Vista16/8/2021 Today, Denzel Curry returns to share a new song. The first new standalone single from Denzel in a year, 'The Game' finds him in peak form, assessing the current state of the rap game over Charlie Heat production. Whereas Denzel previously would have used this kind of opportunity to remind his peers of his technical prowess, 'The Game' sees him slow down his delivery so that the full effect of his bars can be felt.
The song arrives on the heels of it being announced as part of the Madden NFL 2022 soundtrack, marking the 4th year in a row that the soundtrack has featured a Denzel Curry single following 'Sumo', 'Shawshank' and 'Lemonade'. Most recently, Denzel connected with Robert Glasper for an exclusive Record Store Day release of their joint album Live From Leimert Park. He also appears on the new season of The Choe Show (Episode 3: "Just Us 3" with Will Arnett), and a new episode of Dave (FX) (Episode 207: "Ad Man"), out now. Listen to 'The Game' above and stay tuned for more from Denzel Curry soon.

Death By Fungi is a Mumbai based hardcore act that takes inspiration from different styles of mathcore, metallic hardcore, d-beat, and other hardcore subgenres. They have been around since 2013 and are considered one of the pioneers of the Bombay Hardcore scene, through several EP's and splits. Their debut EP 'Die In Bombay' releases on 5th of August, and their first single is already streaming. Stream the first single at Idioteq, RIGHT HERE Rolling Stone India post article about the upcoming Death By Fungi EP: https://rollingstoneindia.com/death-by-fungi-announce-new-ep-die-in-bombay/ DEATH BY FUNGI was formed in 2013 by Vrishank Menon and Kamran Raza, quickly releasing their first demo later that year. The addition of Aryaman Chatterjee to the line-up, saw the band shift towards a more aggressive hardcore sound, resulting in another EP in 2015. This was followed by several live shows and another EP, titled In Dearth Of, in 2016. This release as well as 2017's split with Indian sludge band Shepherd, cemented the sound and style DBF are known for in their country — a chaotic, frantic and outspoken style of hardcore that is technical in its delivery while also referencing more melodic acts. Taking inspiration from a wide spectrum of sonic sources, ranging from the likes of Converge and Shai Hulud to Propagandhi, DBF forge a contemporary hardcore/punk sound with intelligent songwriting and infectious guitar-work. Now considered one of the pioneers of Bombay Hardcore, Death By Fungi return to the fray with their first release in 2 years. While the band’s previous records saw them evolve from a melodic hardcore origin to incorporate influences from skatepunk, powerviolence and mathcore, “Die In Bombay” sets out to combine all influences into one melodic, abrasive and disorienting frenzy of relentless d-beat driven anarchy. As one of the most important bands in India right now, DBF continues to forge the shape & future of hardcore in South Asia, while staying true to its origins at the same time. While musically they lie somewhere between Botch, Coalesce, Deadguy and Despise You, the lyrical content is purely about life in Bombay - a huge metropolis that's engulfed by class and religious divide, polluted by an atmosphere of violence. Die in Bombay is the first record to feature Tabish Khidir of Mumbai-based doom metal band DIRGE on vocals. In order for their sonic vision to be achieved to fruition, Death By Fungi's latest release was mastered by Derek Leisy at Audiosiege. It is a crucial point in defining a unique sound and aesthetic for the band after years of honing their craft. As a result, DBF stands as one of the more refreshing bands in hardcore today, both in terms of the music and in terms of the narrative they present, with the band being vocal about many issues related to social justice and human rights. Their debut EP launches digitally on the 5th of August, and the band is set to tour across India in support of their latest release, alongside the rest of the Indian hardcore punk family. The song comes from the band's impending At Leve Som Hvis Der Var Et Håb LP, out March 9th via Indisciplinarian and Modstand Records. Of the simultaneously furious and melodic "De Skyder" ("they're shooting" in Danish), Parasight guitarist Allan Tvedebrink states, "'De skyder' is the second single from our new album, At Leve Som Hvis Der Var Et Håb, and marks our first video ever. Being a DIY band from the beginning, what else would be more obvious than to do the entire shit ourselves? Everything is filmed and edited by the band and of course we think it's pretty nifty! The song itself is one of the more melodic tracks of the album and deals with the concept of making profit of war and killing people." Decibel offers with the video, "Denmark's Parasight have a new album's worth of crust and metallic hardcore beatings to deliver with At Leve Som Hvis Der Var Et Håb, but they also have a softer side, as you'll hear on the more melodic hardcore-leaning cut 'De Skyder'." Watch Parasight's video for "De Skyder" at Decibel HERE. Also hear the previously-released "Bløder Blod" via No Echo RIGHT HERE. At Leve Som Hvis Der Var Et Håb will be released on LP and digital formats via Indisciplinarian and Modstand Records on March 9th; the LP version, limited to 500 copies worldwide, is available for preordering in the US HERE and internationally HERE. With their second full length At Leve Som Hvis Der Var Et HåB (Danish for "to live as if there was hope"), Parasight delivers a consistent metallic hardcore record which in its political songwriting carries an indignant system critique. With inspiration from the political Danish rock of the '70s, lyricist and lead singer Michael Aagesen writes easily intelligible anti-elite lyrics in which content is above form. At Leve... is produced by the band itself, mixed by Swedish producer legend Fredrik Nordström (Martyrdöd, At The Gates), mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, From Ashes Rise), with artwork by German artist Philip Janta. Parasight will play a release show at the Huset Hardcore festival in Copenhagen on the LP's release day, and in addition they have just been confirmed for the newly formed hardcore and punk festival IlterFestival in May in Odense. More shows will be announced soon.
