Australian pop punk duo 3REE have released a performance video for their new single ‘Set This Place On Fire’, which features guest vocals from Sleeping With Sirens frontman Kellin Quinn. The high energy rock track tackles the pressures of 2022 and the increasing strains on identity, belonging and on longevity of life on the planet. ‘Set This Place On Fire’ finds 3REE bringing their pop laced hooks with hardcore beatdowns to complement the signature alt-metal screaming from Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn. Since its release last month, ‘Set This Place On Fire’ has received huge acclaim with the likes of Rock Sound touting it as, “A riotous anthem… dripping in mountain high melodies, soaring riffs and plenty of gritty atmosphere,” while Kerrang championed the track in the Top 10 of their Kerrang Chart. The track has also proved a TikTok hit, with fans creating viral videos sound tracked to the song’s opening bars. About the meaning of the song 3REE vocalist and guitarist Mitch Volcan says:- “We built the song around the lyric ‘When the fire burns out we all come alive’; writing with the aim of connecting with the listener with the sense of rawness, energy and togetherness that you face during dark times.” The duo is completed by drummer Sean Tighe and since the band’s formation in 2019, with the release of their self-titled debut album that year, they have been quick to draw attention from further high profile names in rock. They are managed and mentored by iconic pop punk manager Rick DeVoe, who managed Blink 182 for over 20 years and has worked with New Found Glory, Angels & Airwaves and more. 3REE have also caught the eye of Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and former Panic! At The Disco drummer Spencer Smith. The attention came via a mashup of the band’s tracks 3REE posted on their Instagram, which impressed Pete and Spencer so much it prompted them to reach out to 3REE. A relationship sparked and Pete and Spencer both now also help mentor the Aussie pop punks. 3REE have made a huge statement with ‘Set This Place On Fire’ and the future burns bright for the pair as they gear up for more exciting announcements to follow in 2022.

There’s something freeing about turning painful memories from your past into lessons for your future - I want people to scream this song out and it be cathartic. Fresh from making their critically acclaimed live debuts at Australian festivals UNIFY Gathering and Groovin' The Moo and polishing off their biggest ever national headlining tour, Eora / Sydney alt-rock force RedHook have returned with their most gut-wrenching single to date, ‘Jabberwocky’, produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly) and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore). Listen to Jabberwocky HERE / Click to stream 'Jabberwocky' / Click to pre-save ‘Jabberwocky’ is an intensely personal song that addresses vocalist Emmy Mack’s experience of being sexually assaulted while on RedHook’s first ever overseas tour. Using the metaphor of the Jabberwocky (a fictional monster from the Alice In Wonderland mythos which in the Irwin Allen film adaptation Alice is ultimately able to vanquish by convincing herself it doesn’t exist) the song centres on Emmy’s coping process of denying her own trauma and the monster who inflicted it in order to effectively “go on with the show”. Menacing guitars and frenetic synths charge beneath Mack’s powerful vocals, building into a psychotic dubstep-inspired breakdown before the vulnerable chorus lyrics take centre stage. Emmy explains the inspiration behind the track: “As difficult as this song was to write, I felt like it was something I had to do. One of the main ways I cope when horrible things happen in life is by listening to music. But when this happened to me, for the very first time, I couldn’t find a song that resonated with what I was going through. Isn’t it strange that we’ve heard so many stories about high-profile male predators in the heavy music space over the past few years, and yet there are so few songs in the genre that deal with sexual assault itself from a female perspective? I really wanted to help change that.” RedHook will support the release of ‘Jabberwocky’ with their second ever tour of Europe in June, including their debut appearance at one of the world’s most iconic rock festivals Rock AM Ring / Rock Im Park alongside the likes of Green Day, Muse, Weezer, Turnstile, Gang Of Youths & Spiritbox, as well as multiple dates supporting The Faim throughout the UK, followed by a 28-date, three-month-long regional tour of Australia as main support for In Hearts Wake, and an appearance at Sydney All Ages festival Shoreshocked alongside Beddy Rays and The Rions. This continues on from a freshly completed national ‘Bring Ya Mates’ tour with The Dead Love and appearances at UNIFY Gathering, Groovin’ The Moo and Halloween Hysteria. The band have previously sold-out national tours and performed at festivals Download (UK), Download (AUS), Good Things, BIGSOUND and Stonefest. 2021 saw RedHook release their long-awaited debut EP ‘Bad Decisions’ which has ticked over 7 million Spotify streams and earned praise from Kerrang! (UK), Rock Sound (UK), Rolling Stone (AUS), Hysteria Magazine and has been nominated for AIR's Independent Music Awards 2022, with multiple video clips being added to rotation on ABC’s Rage. Lead single ‘Bad Decisions’ has also clocked 5 million Spotify streams and has just been announced as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and featured on Spotify’s ‘The Best Of The Rock List 2021’ alongside huge songs by Machine Gun Kelly, YUNGBLUD & more. Previous singles have been added to rotation on triple j, along with further radio support from SiriusXM (USA), Kerrang! Radio (UK), triple j Unearthed, The Faction, 4ZZZ and Aussie Music Weekly. ‘Jabberwocky’ is available worldwide now Australian four-piece rock band The Faim released their high energy, celebratory track “ERA,” produced by Grammy-Nominated Producer/ Songwriter Matthew Pauling (Palaye Royale, 5 Seconds of Summer, State Champs), via BMG. "Lately I Feel EVERYTHING" features Travis Barker, Avril Lavigne, Tierra Wack, Cherry Glazer and Ayla Tesler-Mabe. “'Lately I Feel EVERYTHING' is a musical expression of trying to perceive both joy and pain through an equally compassionate and playful lens,” says Willow. In the time since its release, 't r a n s p a r e n t s o u l ( ft. All songs on "Lately I Feel EVERYTHING", were written by Willow with production and co-writing on select tracks from her long-time collaborator Tyler Cole. The album was recorded in Los Angeles at Conway Studios with additional drums by Matt Chamberlain. Willow plays guitar throughout. At only 20 years old, Willow has spent half her life in the music industry. With "Lately I Feel EVERYTHING, a decade of growth both in the industry and as a young woman come to a head. Her album is a love letter to that constant evolution. She began working on the record in 2020, during the pandemic. With all the extra time on her hands at home, she began recording demos that she would later re-record when she felt like she could safely enter a studio. It was a new process for her, born out of caution, but it helped her capture the rawness of her new sound. On the record, Willow channels the pop-punk and emo heroes she adored as a teenager, like Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance and Paramore. “I thought this was a really dope outlet for a new energy I wanted to bring to my music,” she says. 't r a n s p a r e n t s o u l (ft. Travis Barker)' was originally unveiled via Beats1’s Zane Lowe as a New Music Daily and has since garnered both critical praise and commercial success. “Smith’s song doesn’t so much make the case for Black women in pop-punk as much as it serves as a reminder that we’ve always been here,” said Jezebel. “It’s a pop-punk banger for the ages.” WILLOW recently performed the single on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Watch here. FOLLOW WILLOW ON Following the announcement of her first tour in 5 years, Grammy-nominated, pop rock icon Avril Lavigne has released the music video for her single “I Fell In Love With The Devil”. Rachael Holland, the vocalist for the newcomers, sets the scene: “It's about walking through the storm. Life gets rough, but you have to keep going. You can't just sit there in your rut and give up, you have to persevere through setbacks to grow.” Now available for streaming here, is the quintet’s bright and infectiously catchy debut single ‘Won’t Settle’, with Holland revealing: “I wrote this track when I was dating someone who didn't really feel as if they were making any effort at all. I'd just gotten over a really bad break up, and they were the first person I'd really liked for a while, but they were completely emotionally unavailable. I just said to myself “I cannot settle for someone who just isn't 100% there”. We want people who listen to this song to feel empowered, you have to walk away from anything that isn't serving your happiness.” Completed by Tom Colmans and Dan Smith on Guitar, Tim Clements on Bass and Ben Brennan on Drums, Crossing The Limits came together thanks to ‘the internet’, with Holland recalling: “I'd just gotten out of another band I'd been in for a few years, but it had reached a point where we weren't all on the same page any more. I felt pretty disheartened but I knew that I wasn't done. I began searching online for members to start a new band with, who were all committed and driven. Our ambition is for our music to uplift people and inspire them to be who they are.” With the line-up complete, the members set about writing material, drawing upon lessons they had learned over the past year. Not all of the songs made the cut, but after 4 months the band had the material that would become the record, seeing them dealing with topics such as “the heartbreak of a first love; loss of friendship; not being afraid to carry on going alone and resisting the urge to fall in line by favouring your own path in life.” Recorded at Steel City Studios with Drew Lawson and mastered by Grant Berry at Fader, Holland fondly recalls: “Staying in a budget hotel, living off of fast food and being around each other all the time brought us all closer together, and we really got to know each other and how to agree to disagree sometimes. These guys are my best friends, and the support we give each other is amazing, they're my brothers.” Naming Neck Deep, Tonight Alive, State Champs and Against The Current amongst their influences, on ‘Perseverance’ Crossing The Limits offer up a delightfully energetic and uplifting dose of posi-pop-punk. Holland concludes: “There aren't enough female fronted bands out there right now, we can bring it just as much as any male fronted band. We're coming full force.” Stream Debut Single ‘Won’t Settle’ now: https://youtu.be/y2OuyPM9mEA Facebook | Twitter | Instagram Tonight Alive is celebrating the release of their album Underworld today. Full of unique melodies, heavy hitting rock sounds and the undeniable vocal magic of singer Jenna McDougall, this album marks a turning point for the band both sonically and personally. It is full of moments that pushed the band to express the best and worst parts of themselves and features guest vocals from Lynn Gunn (PVRIS) and Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour.) Already heralded by press as some of the band's best work to date, Underworld is available today on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes. Physical albums and merchandise bundles are available at http://smarturl.it/TAUWmerch. On the release, McDougall shares "Underworld is a record about meeting and making peace with your dark side. Writing it required a journey into the uncharted territory of the Shadow Self; all that has been neglected and abandoned. It's essence says that ultimately our deepest healing happens in the most painful periods of our life." The band's latest single, "Disappear" premiered last week as Annie Mac's Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1. The super-charged track joins previously released singles "Crack My Heart" and "Temple." All three tracks have been seeing incredible streaming success with adds to Spotify's Rock This, Femme Fatale, The Scene, Pop Punk's Not Dead and Crash Course Playlists in the US, coveted New Music Friday adds in Thailand, Mexico and Italy, an appearance on Google Play's Today's Top Alternative Hits chart, as well as spots on Apple Music's Best of the Week and A-List: Rock Playlists in the UK. The band also contributed the song "The Edge" to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Soundtrack before releasing their third full length album, Limitless in 2016. www.hopelessrecords.com http://tonightalive.com/ facebook.com/TonightAlive twitter.com/TonightAlive instagram.com/TonightAliveOfficial Tonight Alive is celebrating the release of the music video for their latest single "Disappear" today. The super-charged track features Lynn Gunn (PVRIS) and is the third single from their upcoming album Underworld. On the track and collaboration, singer Jenna McDougall shares "Disappear is a song about the escapist inside all of us. As you can expect from Tonight Alive, the lyrics discuss freedom, but this time with a flavour of anonymity and detachment. Disappear was written with the intention of sounding neither like Pvris or Tonight Alive, and aimed to capture the sonic imagery of a long straight highway out of your comfort zone." The video is currently streaming here: http://smarturl.it/disappearmusicvideo. Musically, the upcoming album gives fans unique melodies and heavy hitting rock sounds. Lyrically, it is the most personal work they have ever put forth. It is full of moments that pushed the band to explore every aspect of themselves both creatively and emotionally.
