Rovio Entertainment Corp. has partnered with the multi-platinum Grammy Award-winning band Imagine Dragons to launch “Angry Birds x Imagine Dragons,” a free in-game event playable in Angry Birds Match now through Sept. 25, 2018. The event benefits the Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF), a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping families cope financially and emotionally with paediatric cancer.
Imagine Dragons commented:-

In “Angry Birds x Imagine Dragons,” adorable baby Angry Birds, a.k.a. the Hatchlings, need a hand as they get ready to rock out in support of TRF. Take part in special challenges, collect VIP passes, and help the Hatchlings set the stage for the biggest concert ever. The in-game event features an exciting new location, the Las Vegas Concert Arena, and three new characters with nine exclusive outfits, including rockstar gear and dragon wings. Additionally, Imagine Dragons’ newest single “Natural” provides the perfect soundtrack for the event.

Dutch rockers F.U.A. sign with Wormholedeath and reveal "Socially Transmitted Disease" album release date
Dutch Rockers F.U.A. are pleased to announce that they have signed with WormHoleDeath for the release of their debut album "Socially Transmitted Disease"
"Socially Transmitted Disease" has been recorded and mixed at Realsound Studio.
"Socially Transmitted Disease" will be released on 28 September 2018 via Wormholedeath / Aural Music Group / The Orchard worldwide and on 28 November 2018 via Disk Union Distribution in Japan.
The album will be available for pre order on 14 September 2018.
"Hi we are F.U.A. As you probably know our debut album ''Socially Transmitted Disease'' is about to be released via Wormholedeath. We have been working on it for almost three years. With ''Socially Transmitted Disease'' we want to send a warning out into the world against the dangers of social media cause unfortunately a lot of people are addicted to their phones and computers. The digital drugs we use daily has taken our social lives in a stranglehold. We ourselves have fallen victim to the addicting digital world. So we decided to fight against it. The album containing 14 songs is a mixture between what we like to hear in music : raw powerful emotion and also a lot of fun! We hope that you all enjoy our music. We can't wait to see you rock at one of our shows! Cheers!"
F.U.A. is a Dutch light and heavy punk creation of four friends who are all self-taught musicians. The band started by accident when drummer Sander Pietersen was practising with his friend at a local bar. That same day singer Daphne De Heij walked past and interested by the sounds, entered the bar. It did not take long before she grabbed a microphone and busted out some self-written lyrics. Later F.U.A. was fully formed when bass player Robbert Van Der Bijl and eventually guitarist Mitchell Verschoor joined the group. The band started creating their own songs while simultaneously learning to play as a band.
When F.U.A. had just one song they immediately performed it live without second thought. The audience really liked the way the band presented itself. Generally having a good time and doing crazy on stage with easy to remember sing-along songs. F.U.A then quickly started to grow as a small underground punk-rock band. The demo released in 2015, while in low quality, was immediately sold-out. Armed with their own style F.U.A. took over the Dutch city of Purmerend as the go-to punk-rock band. With this newly gained popularity the band travelled all-over The Netherlands to perform on many venues, bars and festivals. Mitchell Verschoor joined the band at a later stage and started writing songs specifically for Daphne’s singing.
It proved very successful after the song ‘Cheers’ became a major turning point for the band. Daphne and Mitchell are mostly behind the lyrics of the songs. This means that alot of different views are taken into the music. F.U.A was also never shy about themselves and posted all kinds of video’s online. Some were funny moments while others were low-quality videos of shows. They just wanted to share all the good times with the world. Because of this online presence F.U.A. got approached by Italian music producer Corvi Wahoomy, from Realsound Studios and Carlo Bellotti, owner at record label Wormholedeath, in 2016. Bellotti asked the band for a newer demo. Agreeing to Bellotti’s request the band spend a lot of time recording this demo, but the sound was still low quality.
Still Bellotti saw a lot of potential in F.U.A. as he fell in love with the energy and sound of the band, especially the song "Cheers" . He wanted the band to record a fully fledged album with Corvi at RealSound Studio in Langhirano, Italy. The band, again agreeing, started writing an entire year and finally entered the studio in January 2018. Working together with talented producers Coruzzi Christian and Corvi Wahoomy, the fruit of the band’s labours have paid off. The album, containing 14 songs, was exactly what everyone had envisioned. With many influences in all kinds of rock. It's a fast and heavy creation with an unique style unheard of in the world of punk. F.U.A. is planning to release this album on a worldwide scale on the 28th of September, 2018 via Wormholedeath.
Hawthorne Heights have premiered new video 'Bad Frequencies' on Rock Sound.
The track is taken from album Bad Frequencies which was released earlier this year, the band's first full-length album since 2013 and first release on Pure Noise Records.

Speaking on the song and video for Bad Frequencies singer JT Woodruff says:-
' One of my favourite places on earth is the California desert. It's a dream and a nightmare at the same time, which is why I love it. I wrote the lyrics to the song “Bad Frequencies” while waiting on Interstate 5 in traffic for 4 hours. My dream then turned into a nightmare. You just have to remember that the nightmare eventually goes away, and you always get back to where you need to be. Visually, much of the video’s vibe is an homage to some of our favourite music videos we grew up to in the 90’s. There is a certain amount of mystique to videos from that era that we absolutely love. Other visual inspirations include Twin Peaks and Black Mirror.'
The album was produced by Hawthorne Heights along with Nick Ingram (Hotel Books, Capital House Studio), and mixed by Cameron Webb (Grammy Winner, NOFX, Social Distortion). The band previously worked with Ingram on the Hurt EP as well as Webb for “Push Me Away” which was released last summer ahead of their full run on the Vans Warped Tour.
Hawthorne Heights will also be touring the UK and Europe starting this October.

Escape The Fate have released their latest music video, ‘I Am Human’. Directed by Robyn August and shot in Los Angeles, the video strives to send a poignant, global message of self-love and acceptance of others as it showcases stories from all walks of life.

“This video and song mean a lot to me. Having gone through abuse myself and suffering from mental health issues, I want people to know that you can come out stronger and by being more accepting of one another, we can do that together.” Frontman Craig Mabbitt explains, “We all have a story to tell. We can all try harder to live our lives from a place of love and understanding. We all have these abilities because we are all human. ‘I Am Human’ is my testament to that.”
Throughout the next month Escape The Fate will also be utilizing the crowdsourcing content app Cinebody to create with their fans around the world and share their stories of what makes us all human.
Inspired by the band’s new single and official video, fans now have the opportunity to participate in the creation of the ‘I Am Human 2’ video, by using the app to upload their stories about what makes them human. New York-based singer/songwriter/producer Amber Mark has returned with infectious new single ‘Put You On’ featuring Virginia native rapper/singer DRAM via PMR/Virgin Records. The brand-new single from one of 2018’s hottest talents oozes East Coast sensibilities and summer vibes, all the while displaying Amber’s trademark husky vocal tones and sublime pop melodies. ‘Put Me On Feat. Discussing how the track came together, Amber reveals:-
“The idea of the song came from wanting to talk about a woman who made it out of the hood in NY and into the top of success. Cardi B was really blowing up at the time and I thought a similar story to hers would be such a vibe for the production. The beat sounded so much like summer in NY and I figured it would be dope to lyrically make a subtle NY anthem.”
‘Put You On Feat. DRAM’ is the follow up to Amber’s critically acclaimed ‘Conexão’ EP, released back in May, which found Amber weaving her extensive knowledge of international styles into a gorgeous musical tapestry embracing everything from slinky soul to Brazilian bossa nova. Upon release NME professed, “honest, eloquent and impossibly talented, Amber Mark is a breath of fresh air” while Pitchfork praised the EP as a “remarkably accomplished. Art School Girlfriend is the moniker of Polly Mackey, a producer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Wrexham, North Wales. Her upcoming second EP ‘Into The Blue Hour’ tracks her move from London to a tightly knit creative community in the seaside town of Margate. After trading the intrusive city skylines for an endless horizon by the sea, Mackey’s forthcoming music has a new sense of space, depth and introspection. The EP’s lead single ‘Distance (Blank)’ is available to buy and stream on all platforms.
The founding member of Welsh shoegaze outfit Deaf Club, Mackey spent time immersed in East London’s creative ecosystem before moving south of the river. Since the group disbanded, Mackey became enamoured with London’s pirate radio networks and began making electronic music with an experimental focus, releasing her debut ‘Measures’ EP as Art School Girlfriend in late 2017. Now expanding on those electronic blueprints, the ‘Into The Blue Hour’ EP sees Mackey further develop her production tool kit and mastery of negative space. The beat-driven lead single ‘Distance (Blank)’ explores Mackey’s fatigue with crowded city living, feelings of claustrophobia and the desire to be out in a wide open space. The single is soon to be paired with visuals directed by Tom Dream.
Art School Girlfriend embarks on her first full UK tour in October, beginning with a performance at London’s St Pancras Old Church on the 5th. Full details follow. The ‘Into The Blue Hour’ EP will be released in full on September 28th via Wolf Tone.

Legendary Detroit Hard Rockers Madam X have released a video for the title track of their studio album Monstrocity released back in October 2017. Formed in 1981 by sisters Roxy and Maxine Petrucci, Madam X recruited bassist Chris “Godzilla” Doliber and vocalist Bret Kaiser, who released their classic, Rick Derringer produced, Jet Records debut "We Deserve The Right" in 1984, spawning the hit Rock single “High in High School”. 4 years later, after Roxydeparted to join future Arena Rock superstars Vixen, and original vocalist Kaiser was briefly replaced by an unknown Canadian vocalist named Sebastian Bach, Madam X disbanded, and would remain mostly inactive until 2014, when the original lineup reunited at the Sweden Rock Festival.
Fast forward to 2017, when the Petrucci sisters collaborated with vocalist Mark Slaughter on a Lemmy Kilmister tribute track for their VIP AFTERSHOWproject, Slaughter who introduced Roxy to EMP LABEL GROUP head of A&R Thom Hazaert, who released a 12” “KILMISTER” single for AFTERSHOW, and the conversation soon shifted to the upcoming MADAM X release.
The album features 12 hard-hitting slabs of Rock, including the pummelling title track “Monstrocity”, “Resurrection”, “Nitrous”, and an updated version of their 1984 hit “High In High School.”
Diamante has released her latest music video for the song “Bulletproof” from her debut album, Coming In Hot. The clip showcases a killer training session with fitness motivator and celebrity trainer Melissa Alcantara, known on social media as @FitGurlMel, at Gold’s Gym in Hollywood.
"Thanks so much to the awesome @Fitgurlmel for the inspiring workout. This song is a reminder that when something in life gets you down, you’re strong and can be bulletproof! It came about from my experience of being with people who always tried to make me feel like I was less-than and constantly put me down, this song is the empowering moment when I realized my self-worth and everything I am capable of."
Diamante, 21, brings her own flair to the rock genre with Coming In Hot. As Billboard proclaimed, "Coming in Hot is an excellent showcase for the raw power of her voice, which at times recalls Melissa Etheridge and Sass Jordan blended with the dispassionate élan of Blondie's Debbie Harry." Produced by Howard Benson [Chris Cornell, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance, Halestorm], the record is a head-turning debut full of "arresting rock anthems," which Cryptic Rock noted in its review.
Fans and critics have already been equally besotted by Diamante's room-filling voice. The "Bulletproof" video shows another side of this strong, fierce, rock 'n' roll dynamo.
